Stunt bikers from Westmoreland, Clarendon, and Kingston will put their skills on display at this year's staging of the annual Stunt Fest and Drifting event, to be hosted at the Summerfield Community Centre, Clarendon, on Sunday.

It is being promoted by event coordinators Bad Willy Entertainment and Mappa Entertainment, and according to spokesperson Derval 'Dean' Barnett, the promoters are looking forward to a full house.
"This event is highly anticipated each year because it's clean entertainment that all family members can enjoy. Every staging sees it growing from strength to strength, and this occasion, it's going to be bigger and better," Barnett said.
Stunt Fest and Drifting will commence at midday with a children's fun day featuring games and other entertainment for the young ones.
FAMILY EVENT
Barnett says stunting has been growing in Jamaica and also lauded the promoters for providing a different type of entertainment for rural Jamaica.
"Most promoters only think to host parties. However, as you can see, this event is refreshing and I believe that is why we have such a good support each staging. Finally, there is something that the entire family can attend without worrying about lewd content and explicit actions," he said.
The bikers expected to showcase their skills at Stunt Fest and Drifting have performed on numerous tours and motorcades locally.
Bad Willy Entertainment and Mappa Entertainment have also been busy with their promotional stunts, as they have embarked on at least five bike motorcades to ramp up the pre-event buzz. On Sunday, the roar and howl of bike engines will not be the only sound the patrons will gravitate to, as Stone Love Movements and Tazmania sound system will alternate in providing music.
Stunt Fest and Drifting is being sponsored by Tazmania Wholesale, Hot Corner Sundays, and Summerfield Community Centre. Adult patrons will be charged $499 while children under 12 will be admitted free.
"It's good to have a free event for the kids leading into the Christmas holidays, and the price for adults is very affordable. 'Tis the season for giving," Barnett said.
